Work Details The contractor is responsible for the following tasks: 1. General Requirements including site management and coordination with the Owner. 2. Installation of new cooler systems as specified in the contract documents. 3. Designate delivery dates for each portion of work in the Project Schedule. 4. Store products as requested and coordinate installation with the Project Schedule. 5. Provide all preparatory work necessary for proper installation, including blocking, backing, caulking, grouting, and finish work such as painting adjacent surfaces as required for NIC or OF/OI equipment. 6. Handle and protect Owner-furnished products from damage during installation. 7. Submit shop drawings and calculations for review by Architect/Engineer, ensuring compliance with contract documents. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a specified period that will be detailed in the final contract documents, typically spanning several months from the notice to proceed. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Food & Nutrition Center located within the District's jurisdiction. Bidder Requirements Contractors must comply with EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule if lead-based paint is disturbed during renovations. Proof of certification is required upon request from the Owner to avoid contract termination.
