Background The Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) is a political subdivision of the State of Arizona and Maricopa County, serving approximately 22,000 students and employing around 3,800 staff across 29 school locations. The objective of this solicitation is to establish a contract with qualified firm(s) to provide Ancillary Employee Benefits. This initiative aims to evaluate the current structure, competitiveness of costs, savings opportunities, capabilities and services available, and compliance of existing health benefit programs. Work Details The successful vendor(s) will provide a range of ancillary employee benefits including: - Voluntary Administrative Services Only (ASO) Dental PPO Plan - Voluntary Prepaid Dental Plan (DHMO) - Voluntary Vision Plan - Basic & Supplemental Life Insurance - Voluntary Short-term Disability - Worksite Benefits (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity) - Prepaid Legal Plans - Identity Theft Protection - Pet Insurance - Health Insurance Coverage Alternatives – Advisory Services - Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Administration - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - COBRA Administration - Medicare Advisory Services. The initial contract period is from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with options for annual renewals for up to four additional years based on performance. Period of Performance Initial contract period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with options for renewal on a year-to-year basis for up to four additional years. Place of Performance Services will be performed for the Scottsdale Unified School District located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bidder Requirements Bidders must submit proposals that include a signed Offer and Acceptance Form and comply with specific proposal formatting requirements. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Bonfire Procurement Portal. All proposals should be net of commissions as USI Insurance Services has been retained for proposal analysis. Bidders are encouraged to provide competitive quotes and demonstrate capability in managing the specified benefits.
