Qualifications for Construction: Santa Fe Indian School

Santa Fe Indian School is seeking competitive sealed qualifications and bid proposals for the renovation and restoration of the existing outdoor Paolo Soleri amphitheater, divided into three phases. Phase A involves full restoration, ADA improvements, lighting, power, seating, handrails, paint, and finishes to the existing outdoor amphitheater. Phase B includes full interior demolition of the existing backstage building and improvements to include new dressing areas, green rooms, restroom facilities, staging areas, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, AV rooms, and equipment areas. Phase C consists of new steel and concrete construction for outdoor amphitheater seating expansion up to 4000 people, including new public restrooms, a concession area, and new ticketing offices. These phases are part of a larger construction project that includes an addition of a 33,000 sq ft two-story performing arts building with an indoor 300-seat auditorium, black-box performance spaces, and a new indoor band room. The Owner intends to award the additional phases by contract amendment as funding becomes available. Bidding is open to all licensed and qualified General Contractors. Bidder questions or requests for information must be submitted in writing to the Architectural Project Manager; no phone calls will be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, at Santa Fe Indian School Paolo Soleri Amphitheater, 1501 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, and must be emailed or delivered to the school c/o Gary Lujan, Director, Trust Land Management at glujan@sfis.k12.nm.us to be considered.
