Sandia RD Janitorial

Background

The U.S. Forest Service, specifically the Sandia Ranger District located in New Mexico, is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The goal of the contract is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the facilities managed by the Sandia Ranger District.

Work Details

The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, supervision, materials, supplies (except Government-Furnished property), transportation, and communication methods to perform janitorial services at the Sandia Ranger District Office and Warehouse. Services include cleaning offices, lunchrooms, elevators, conference rooms, entrance ways, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, showers, and closets. The work must be performed professionally and satisfactorily according to specified frequencies: monthly (1x per week), quarterly (4x per year), and bi-monthly (6x per year). The contractor is responsible for providing specific cleaning supplies such as biodegradable detergents and cleansers. The contractor must also ensure that all work is done during designated hours on Sundays between 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Quality assurance will be overseen by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), who will inspect performance regularly. Any missed cleaning days must be made up within the same week; otherwise, they will be deducted from the invoice.

Period of Performance

Base Year: December 15, 2025 - December 14, 2026; Option Years: December 15 of each subsequent year through December 14 of the following year for four additional years.
