Background The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Meat Animal Research Center requires a contract for sheep shearing services to maintain a healthy and productive herd of sheep. This initiative is part of their mission to develop scientific information and new technologies for the U.S. beef, swine, and sheep industries.
