Tri-Annual Electrical Inspection James H. Quillen VAMC

Background

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, is preparing to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Tri-Annual Electrical Inspection at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) in Mountain Home, TN, and Memphis VA Medical Centers (VAMC). This project aims to fulfill the electrical inspection and testing requirements as outlined in VHA Directive 1028 'Facility Electrical Power Systems'. The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(d). Work Details: The contract involves completing a comprehensive 3-year electrical inspection and testing of the power distribution system at the JHQVAMC. This includes both low and medium voltage distribution equipment such as transformers, switchgear, switchboards, distribution panels, motor control centers, automatic transfer switches (ATS), manual transfer switches (MTS), breakers, relays, emergency power systems, generators, and all associated components. A detailed report documenting all procedures, tests conducted, deficiencies found, and recommendations for any equipment not meeting required standards or codes will be required. Place of Performance: The primary location for performance will be at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, TN.
