Repoint Harwood Buildings

Background

The Providence VA Health Care System (VAHCS) is seeking construction services to repair and repoint multiple buildings at the Harwood Research Center. This requirement is classified under construction as it calls for the alteration of real property. Work Details: The construction services include repairing and repointing buildings at the Harwood Research Center, including the main building and the Research Center Maintenance Warehouse. The work involves area preparation, staging, washing, sealing, replacing broken bricks, repointing brickwork, removing/resetting gutters, tending to joint mortar, and tuck flashing. The contractor is responsible for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, and permits necessary to fulfill the requirements within this Statement of Work. The work also involves compliance with specific construction documents and specifications provided by the VA Master Construction Specifications. Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract is expected to begin within 10 calendar days after receipt of a written Notice to Proceed (NTP) and should last no longer than a duration of 365 calendar days after the NTP is issued.
