Project# 621-24-112 - Renovate B34 for Physical Therapy

Background

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region, is issuing this solicitation to request Architectural and Engineering (AE) Design Firm's SF330s for the design of a complete addition of a physical therapy rehabilitation center and prosthetics and orthotics lab. The project aims to enhance the facilities available for rehabilitation services, aligning with the agency's mission to provide high-quality care to veterans. Work Details: The project scope includes design services for an addition of approximately 23,000 square feet. Key tasks involve: conducting site investigations, performing 3D scanning of existing conditions, creating specifications for construction, and producing existing and proposed layouts for all spaces. The design must ensure a fully functional Physical Therapy Rehabilitation center and lab, which includes a vehicle pull-off area and ramp for patient drop-off as well as a parking area. Additionally, the base bid includes renovating the Historic Clock Tower Building 34 for Rehab Medicine. Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract is 270 days. Place of Performance: The construction projects will be performed at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center located at the Corner of Lamont & Veterans Way, Mountain Home, TN 37684.
