Background The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) for the repair of the AWOS conveyor system at DLA Distribution Richmond, Virginia (DDRV). This solicitation is open to full and open competition. The goal of this contract is to establish a firm-fixed-price agreement for necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiency of the conveyor system. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Remove and replace the drive motor for the Mettler Toledo AWOS conveyor section. 2. Rebuild the Modsort divert on line 2 packing induction line to restore its operational capability. The work must be expedited to restore the AWOS Conveyor system promptly. The contractor must quote for all materials, installation, and freight associated with these tasks. Specific parts required for repair include: - (1) Motor: 1/2HP, 1800RPM, 230/460V, 3 PH - (1) Roller Top Belt Head Roller - (1) Divert MDR - (1) Control Card - (8) Ai2 / M8 MEC-2M-M8 Motor Extension Cable. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from January 15, 2026, to January 22, 2026.
