MDA Agile Professional Services Solution (MAPSS)

Background

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is initiating the Agile Professional Services Solutions (MAPSS) program, which serves as the fourth generation of procurement for Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS;) support. This program follows the TEAMS-Next initiative and aims to provide essential support for the MDA Missile Defense System (MDS). Work Details

Each Statement of Work (SOW) will detail specific requirements aligned with the overarching objectives of supporting the MDA's mission. The contract structure will adopt a tranche approach for awards based on market research and acquisition strategy approvals. Performance standards will be monitored through a Contract Performance Oversight Plan (CPOP), ensuring compliance with quality and schedule requirements. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria that may include self-scoring by offerors and adherence to regulatory standards.

Period of Performance

The anticipated period of performance for each contract award is five years, consisting of a three-year base period followed by two one-year option periods. There is also a potential six-month extension option.
