Background The State of Michigan, through the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, is issuing a solicitation for a Video Management System Upgrade at the Carson City Correctional Facility. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's video security system and integrate an access control system along with an audio-visual (AV) system in the warden's conference room. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Upgrading components of the video security system and adding an access control system and AV system in the warden's conference room. 2. Installation of cabling, security cameras, network switches, monitoring PCs, and servers/storage to support both new and existing cameras. 3. Replacement of existing camera monitoring PCs with new units as specified. 4. Provision and installation of a Genetec access control system, including removal of the existing access control system. 5. Installation of an AV system in the conference room, including upgrades to LCD displays. 6. Licensing costs for new cameras and monitoring PCs through July 31, 2029. 7. Full loading of the latest Genetec software on servers and PCs, along with firmware upgrades for all cameras compatible with Genetec software. 8. Documentation and as-builts for network connectivity and camera locations on red-lined PDF documents. Period of Performance The contract work is expected to commence upon award with a completion date set for January 15, 2026. Place of Performance Carson City Correctional Facility, Michigan.
