Background The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, specifically the Office of Oil and Gas, is soliciting bids for a construction/reclamation project in Roane County. The goal of this contract is to establish a comprehensive plan for the plugging and reclamation of eighteen (18) wells, collectively referred to as the Roane Co. Multi-Well Plugging Contract - Group A. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following services: 1. Permitting for 18 wells. 2. Well Plugging for the following API numbers: - API# 47-087-00416 - API# 47-087-00506 - API# 47-087-04191 - API# 47-087-04828 - API# 47-087-04829 - API# 47-087-04830 - API# 47-087-04834 - API# 47-087-04835 - API# 47-087-04836 - API# 47-087-04837. 3. Well Reclamation for the same API numbers listed above. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon the issuance of a notice to proceed and is expected to be completed within one calendar year from that date. Place of Performance The work will be performed in Roane County, West Virginia. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide a valid bid bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount with their submission. Additionally, the successful vendor must furnish a performance bond and a labor/material payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract value prior to contract award. Vendors must also comply with all applicable state and local licensing requirements.
