Background The requirement for Fitness Equipment Maintenance is issued by the 87th Force Support Squadron (FSS) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL). The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of fitness equipment at various fitness centers within JBMDL, thereby supporting the health and wellness mission of the agency. The anticipated award will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, tools, parts, supervision, and items necessary to inspect, repair, and perform preventive and remedial maintenance on fitness equipment at JBMDL Fitness Centers. Services include: 1. Inspecting and correcting equipment defects. 2. Monthly lubrication and adjustment of moving parts, cables, and guide rods. 3. Quarterly interior cleaning of all cardiovascular equipment. 4. Ordering replacement parts within 24 hours after service calls; parts must be new or refurbished with a warranty. 5. Submitting documentation with invoices detailing costs, including parts and labor. 6. Calibrating electronic components. 7. Repairing or replacing worn upholstery matching manufacturer specifications. 8. Maintaining a service log for each piece of equipment detailing work performed. 9. Conducting preventive maintenance bi-monthly at each fitness center. 10. Ensuring technicians have a minimum of five years specialized experience in maintaining commercial-grade fitness equipment. Place of Performance Services will be performed at three locations: McGuire Fitness Center (2504 POW/MIA Blvd, McGuire AFB, NJ 08641), Griffith Field House (6053 Milleville Ave, Fort Dix, NJ 08640), and Lakehurst Fitness Center (60 Lansdowne Rd, Lakehurst, NJ 08733).
