The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order to Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA), 500 Montgomery Street, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314 for the purpose of the DEA's participation in the 36th Annual National Leadership Forum at the National Harbor from February 2, 2026 February 5, 2026. The Forum is the premier substance abuse prevention training and networking event in the country. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis in accordance with statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Background The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order to Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) for the DEA’s participation in the 36th Annual National Leadership Forum at the National Harbor from February 2, 2026 – February 5, 2026. This Forum is recognized as the premier substance abuse prevention training and networking event in the country. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis due to CADCA being the only responsible source that can meet the agency's requirements. Work Details The DEA will co-sponsor CADCA’s National Leadership Forum, which is the largest training event for prevention professionals in the country, expecting at least 3,500 attendees. The co-sponsorship includes: - three DEA-sponsored workshops, - ten full conference registrations, - exhibit hall space, - a full-page color advertisement in the final program. CADCA has been sponsoring this National Forum for 30 years and supports approximately 5,000 community coalitions across the nation.
