Background The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located in Gautier, MS. The mission of the FWS is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. The goal of this contract is to install a fully functional Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at the refuge. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the installation and making fully functional an Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed Intrusion Detection System (IDS). The system must include hardware that allows for expansion with additional modules, panel tamper notification, remote monitoring capabilities, and remote annunciation using standard internet protocol-based communications. The specific model of the IDS hardware must be listed in the Statement of Work (SOW), unless an equivalent model is approved. The contractor must demonstrate successful past performance in similar installations and provide detailed technical proposals as outlined in the solicitation. Period of Performance The work is expected to be completed within 90 days after receipt of order. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge located at 7200 Crane Lane, Gautier, MS 39553-2500.
