Background Cobb County is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide uniforms and other related items for the Cobb County PARKS Department and the Cobb County Department of Transportation. The goal of this contract is to ensure a comprehensive solution for the timely and effective provision of high-quality uniforms. Work Details The contractor will provide high-quality, industrial type polyester/cotton, permanent press uniforms with embroidered department logos at no additional cost. Specific requirements include: - Embroidery for Cobb County Department of Transportation (DOT) on various garments including outerwear, sweatshirts, shirts, bibs, coveralls, hi-vis shirts and jackets. - Embroidery for Cobb County PARKS on similar items as specified. - Delivery locations include Cobb County Department of Transportation and Cobb County PARKS Administration Complex in Marietta, GA. - Samples must be provided for specified items including various types of shirts, pants, outerwear, and accessories as detailed in the RFP. - All packing slips and invoices must reference the purchase order number. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and will continue until all items are delivered or services are completed as per the terms outlined in the RFP. Place of Performance Cobb County Department of Transportation located at 1890 County Services Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30008 and Cobb County PARKS Administration Complex at 1792 County Services Parkway, Marietta, GA 30008. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate experience in providing similar services with a summary of five contracts similar in scope. Proposals should include company background information and details on how they will meet service requirements.
