Background

The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is seeking to establish one or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for Document Destruction-Shredding services across various cemeteries in the Midwest District. The goal of this contract is to ensure secure and efficient destruction of sensitive documents, aligning with the NCA's mission to honor veterans and their families by providing dignified burial services and maintaining national cemeteries. Work Details: The contractor will be responsible for providing Document Destruction-Shredding services at the following locations: - Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (Elwood, IL) - Fort Custer National Cemetery (Augusta, MI) - Fort Snelling National Cemetery (South Minneapolis, MN) - Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (St. Louis, MO) - Leavenworth National Cemetery (Leavenworth, KS) - Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Seville, OH). Services must comply with applicable regulations regarding document destruction and confidentiality. The contractor must ensure that all shredding processes meet federal standards for document disposal. Period of Performance: The contract will be established for a base year with four optional renewal years, allowing for continued service provision based on performance evaluations and funding availability. Place of Performance: Services will be performed at multiple locations across the Midwest District cemeteries including Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, and Ohio.
