Background The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, in collaboration with the Partnership for Rhode Island, seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide direct and ongoing domestic business attraction support. The goal of this contract is to enhance business attraction efforts within the state by generating leads and engaging with targeted companies to facilitate their relocation or expansion into Rhode Island. Work Details The selected firm will be responsible for: 1. Providing direct and ongoing domestic business attraction support, including lead generation and strategic outreach to individual companies. 2. Developing a 'living' list of strong attraction prospects that is consistently updated and leads to relocation results. This list should include both fully qualified leads and companies likely to expand or relocate to Rhode Island. 3. Collaborating with the Corporation team on lead follow-up, including pre-qualifying leads and scheduling meetings between the Corporation and target companies. 4. Offering dedicated support for planning site visits for incoming companies to Rhode Island and visits by Rhode Island representatives to target companies. 5. Engaging in on-call support for virtual and in-person meetings with the Corporation as necessary. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a twelve-month period, starting from the date of contract signing. Place of Performance The services will primarily be performed in Rhode Island, with potential travel required for site visits as part of the engagement. Bidder Requirements Proposers must be registered to do business in the State of Rhode Island at the time of contract signing. They are not required to have their headquarters in the United States but must have knowledge of domestic business movement and be able to place a dedicated employee in Rhode Island during the contract period.
