Background The State of Nevada, Office of the Military, is seeking bids/proposals from qualified contractors to provide as-needed services related to the maintenance, repair, and operation of lighting control systems for the Nevada Army National Guard (NVNG). The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational capability of lighting control systems while minimizing downtime and energy costs across various NVNG facilities statewide. Work Details Contractors will provide ongoing inspections, maintenance, updates, repairs, and service for lighting control systems at designated NVNG facilities. Services include troubleshooting and diagnostic checks, system testing and verification, firmware and software updates, necessary repairs and replacement of defective components, and adjustments to the Building Management System (BMS) / lighting control front-end interface. Contractors must be certified or authorized representatives for Distech and Acuity nLight control systems. Training for facility maintenance staff may also be required. Work will occur in various environmental conditions at commercial buildings including attic spaces and equipment rooms. Period of Performance The contract will be performed on an as-needed basis with services potentially required on a one-time, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Work is typically completed during business hours from Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM. Place of Performance Services will be provided statewide at various NVNG facilities including locations in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno (including Stead area), Carson City, Fallon, Elko, and Carlin. Bidder Requirements Contractors must have a valid Nevada business license and contractor's license. They are required to provide proof of liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance naming the Office of the Military as the certificate holder. Contractors must also register with the State of Nevada as a vendor and use electronic transfer for payment. All personnel working on site must pass a background check.
