Background The U.S. Department of Transportation, specifically the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) through its Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD), is issuing this solicitation for the Materials Testing Lab Laundry and Floor Mat Service. The WFLHD is responsible for designing and administering road construction projects on Federal Lands across several states including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. The goal of this contract is to support WFLHD operations by providing necessary laundry and mat supplies and services for their Materials Testing Lab located in Vancouver, WA. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the bi-weekly supply and cleaning of floor mats, aprons, and towels as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes: - Supply and cleaning of various types of floor mats including safety mats and anti-fatigue mats in specified quantities. - Supply and quarterly cleaning of a 2-compartment laundry bag rack along with associated laundry bags. - The contractor must retrieve and replace these items throughout the lab as needed. - Specific item quantities include: - 2 x 3X5 Safety Mats - 1 x 3X10 Safety Mat - 2 x 4X6 Safety Mats - 2 x 2X3 Wet Area Mats - 8 x 2X3 Anti-Fatigue Mats - 5 x 3X5 Anti-Fatigue Mats - 4 x 4X6 Anti-Fatigue Mats - 1 x 3X9 Wet Area Mat - 20 Denim Aprons - 120 Red Shop Towels - 300 Blue Terry Towels. - Services are to be scheduled on weekdays between the hours of 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance includes a base period of twelve months from March 14, 2026 to March 13, 2027 with four optional twelve-month extensions potentially extending until March 13, 2031. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Materials Testing Lab located at 610 E Fifth Street, Vancouver, Clark County, WA.
