Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a contract for annual trash and recycling services at Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Hubbell Trading Post NHS, and Navajo NM. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper waste management and recycling in these areas, supporting the agency's mission to preserve natural resources and provide a clean environment for visitors. Work Details The contractor will provide trash and recycling services including collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials. The contract consists of a base year with four option years. Specific tasks include: - Regular collection of trash and recyclable materials from designated locations within Canyon De Chelly NM, Hubbell Trading Post NHS, and Navajo NM. - Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding waste management. - Coordination with the appropriate Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) for necessary approvals. - Site visits can be scheduled by contacting the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
