Background This Justification and Approval (J&A) is issued for a stand-alone contract for the operation of Army dining facilities (DFAC) at Fort Greely, Alaska. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive cook support and food service worker services, which include: 1. Preparation and serving of meals in accordance with Army standards. 2. Maintenance of cleanliness and sanitation in dining facilities. 3. Assistance in food preparation alongside performing Dining Facility Attendant (DFA) services. 4. Rapid mobilization to meet short notice requirements for meal services. 5. Ensuring that meal services are available to military and civilian personnel to maintain readiness and well-being. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance is three years, from January 5, 2026, to January 4, 2029. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Fort Greely, Alaska.
