Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK), is conducting market research through this Sources Sought notice to identify parties interested in supporting the refuse collection and disposal services for the Harry S. Truman Lake Project. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper waste management in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Work Details The contractor will provide refuse collection and disposal services, which include: furnishing all personnel, equipment, labor, supplies, and services necessary to provide, place, empty, and clean approximately 20 metal dumpsters. This includes 1 dumpster of two (2) cubic yards and 19 dumpsters of six (6) cubic yards. The contractor must deliver and place these dumpsters in designated park areas as instructed by the Contracting Officer or their representative. Refuse collected must be transported off government property to a state-approved sanitary landfill or disposal point. The contractor is required to comply with all relevant laws and obtain necessary permits for refuse collection and disposal. Additionally, the contractor will provide two construction dumpsters with a capacity of thirty (30) yards each; one at the Truman Maintenance Building (which may occasionally be moved) and one at the lab yard, available year-round. Disposal services must commence within 72 hours after receiving an order from the Contracting Officer's Representative.
