Background The contract is issued by the 75th Air Base Wing (75 ABW) at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah. The mission of the agency is to provide support for the Sunday Protestant worship service at HAFB Chapel. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all music direction necessary for these services is provided effectively and in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated March 2026. Work Details The contractor will provide all music direction necessary to support the Sunday Protestant worship service at HAFB Chapel Bldg 475 or Annex Bldg 445. Key responsibilities include: 1. Leading and providing musical direction for up to 52 weekly services and up to 5 special services as authorized by the Wing Chaplain or Protestant chaplain. 2. Coordinating all music selections with the Protestant Chaplain, providing selections by Wednesday prior to Sunday service. 3. Coordinating with accompanists for all services, including memorials and special events. 4. Assisting with seasonal musical celebrations such as Christmas and Easter. 5. Securing suitable replacements when necessary and notifying the Protestant Chaplain promptly. 6. Providing all labor and transportation necessary to perform duties. 7. Maintaining records of qualifications and obtaining periodic training relevant to the position. 8. Undergoing a background check as required for individuals working with youth, complying with privacy regulations. 9. Giving a two-week notice for any extended absence and arranging for an approved substitute if absent for more than two Sundays. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from March 27, 2026, to March 26, 2027. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Hill Air Force Base Chapel Bldg 475 or Annex Bldg 445, located in Hill AFB, Utah.
