This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns and aims to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing hazardous waste disposal. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, safety equipment, vehicles, licenses, and special permits necessary for the packaging, manifesting, transporting, and disposal of hazardous and non-regulated materials at two research centers: Dale Bumper National Rice Research Center (DBNRRC) and Stuttgart National Aquaculture Research Center (SNARC). Key tasks include: - Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste management. - Proficiency in 'Lab Pack' waste disposal procedures. - Supply of containers that meet Department of Transportation shipping specifications. - Removal of chemical waste from both facilities during working hours (7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday). - Monitoring and maintaining records of all materials and waste generated as a result of the contract work. - Submission of separate quotes for different types of waste as outlined in attached appendices.
