Background The Bureau of Reclamation, specifically the Lower Colorado Region, is issuing this contract for irrigation and maintenance services at the CNWR (Colorado National Wildlife Refuge) and CVCA (Central Valley Conservation Area). The mission of the Bureau is to manage water resources in the western United States. This contract aims to ensure effective irrigation and maintenance of these vital areas over a five-year period. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing irrigation and maintenance services as specified in individual task orders (TOs) issued under this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Each TO will detail specific performance work statements, tasks required, special technical requirements, instructions, or clearances. The contractor must acknowledge each TO in writing within three calendar days of issuance. If the contractor finds the completion date specified in a TO unreasonable, they must notify the contracting officer within ten calendar days. The contractor may propose alternate delivery schedules at no additional cost. Task orders will include details such as date of order, task order number, accounting data, total award amount, and required completion date. Period of Performance The overall contract performance period consists of a five-year ordering term which begins at the time of award. Individual task orders may be placed as needed throughout this term. Place of Performance The services will be performed at designated locations within the Colorado National Wildlife Refuge and Central Valley Conservation Area.
