Background The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA), is seeking sealed responses for the procurement of self-propelled hydraulic 15-ton cranes for the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). The goal of this contract is to enhance TXDOT's operational capabilities by acquiring reliable and efficient lifting equipment. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of one self-propelled hydraulic 15-ton crane, with specifications as outlined in Attachment G. The crane must be new, unused, and the latest model in production. It must include all necessary parts and standard equipment for operation. The referenced manufacturers/models include Grove GCD-15 and Broderson IC-200-3J or an equivalent approved by CPA. Delivery is to be made to TxDOT Fleet Operations Division located at 12015 State Highway 6, Sugarland, TX 77498. The unit price must include all shipping, handling, and delivery fees as it will be shipped FOB Destination. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract begins upon the effective date specified in a Notice of Award issued by CPA and will expire on August 31, 2026, or upon delivery and acceptance of an additional crane if mutually agreed upon by TXDOT and the contractor. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at TxDOT Fleet Operations Division, located at 12015 State Highway 6, Sugarland, TX 77498. Bidder Requirements Respondents must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in Section A.5 of the solicitation. This includes commercial general liability insurance with minimum coverage amounts detailed in the solicitation. Additionally, any subcontractors involved must meet the same insurance requirements. Respondents are also required to submit a completed Execution of Response form (Attachment A), Respondent Information form (Attachment B), and a Mandatory Price Sheet in either .xml or .xlsx format.
