Background The Fort Bliss Directorate of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for managing essential solid waste and refuse removal services at Fort Bliss. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with Army regulations and applicable environmental laws for waste collection and disposal. The current contract requires the service provider to supply all necessary personnel, materials, and equipment to operate these services across all Fort Bliss areas, including living quarters, training grounds, and temporary base camps. The government provides refuse dumpsters, which the contractor must maintain and repair. To ensure uninterrupted service, a Firm-Fixed-Price modification is proposed to extend the current contract by an additional six months. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Supplying all necessary personnel to operate refuse removal services across Fort Bliss areas. 2. Providing materials and equipment required for effective waste collection and disposal. 3. Maintaining and repairing government-provided refuse dumpsters. 4. Ensuring compliance with Army regulations (AR 200-1, CLS 403, ISR 403) and all applicable state and federal environmental laws regarding waste management. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over an additional six-month period following the modification. Place of Performance Fort Bliss areas including living quarters (cantonment areas), training grounds, and temporary base camps.
