Posted: Jan. 13, 2026, 5:32 p.m. EST This request covers a three-day rental of six (6) high-volume, dual-lane, non-intrusive weapon detection systems for the upcoming "Warriors Over the Wasatch Airshow" IAW attached SOW. The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) sole source solicitation/contract to Vision Quest Solutions, LLC (Cage Code 7CX35). This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The government will not pay for any costs associated with responding to this presolicitation Synopsis.

Background The 75 ABW Airshow Committee is responsible for providing security operations for the 2026 Hill AFB Warriors Over the Wasatch Airshow, which has previously attracted over 120,000 attendees over two days. The goal of this contract is to ensure a safe and secure event while maintaining efficient pedestrian flow by utilizing high-volume weapons detection equipment that does not require individuals to remove items from their pockets or bags. Work Details The contractor is required to provide six (6) high-volume, dual-lane, non-intrusive weapon detection systems that can process up to 3,600 personnel per hour. The equipment must meet the following specifications: - Six (6) dual lanes, each measuring at least 40 inches wide - Ability to screen more than 3,600 people per hour - Mat lip less than 0.20 inches - Power requirements of 115 VAC - 230VAC (+/-10%), Single Phase, with a maximum power consumption of 200W - Movable for reconfiguration of force protection posture - Capability to insert custom panel graphics - Operable as a standalone unit separate from other security systems. Additionally, the contractor must ensure proper setup and operation of the equipment, which will be directed by the Airshow Security Committee. In-depth operator training is required on June 26, 2026, along with on-site technical support throughout the airshow days. Period of Performance The contract performance will occur during the Hill Air Force Base Warriors Over the Wasatch Airshow scheduled for June 27-28, 2026. Setup will begin on June 26, 2026, with operational hours from approximately 7:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. Place of Performance All work will be performed on Hill Air Force Base.
