Background The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide one (1) 2025 or newer/unused Ford F250 XL with outfitting. This procurement is reserved for local businesses as per the Board of Supervisors Minute Order dated January 28, 2025. The County's mission is to prioritize local businesses in their procurement processes. Work Details The contractor will provide a base vehicle and outfitting as follows: 1. Base Vehicle Specifications: - Model: 2025 or newer/unused Ford F250 XL - 8ft bed, Crew cab, 4WD - Engine: 6.8L Gas engine with Automatic Transmission - Exterior Color: White - Interior Color: Gray Vinyl - Compliance with Federal and California emissions standards - Includes 3 fobs/keys cut and programmed, backup alarm, platform running boards, spray-in bed liner, and bed hooks. - Tires: LT245/75Rx17E BSW A/T. 2. Outfitting Requirements: - Window tint (70% on all windows) - All-weather floor mats (Weathertech #4410331V-4410124V) - Full roof amber LED light bar (Ecco #11-060TOW-E or equivalent) - Under hood battery powered resettable relay for additional equipment. 3. General Requirements: - Minimum of two departmental meetings for build approval. - Vehicle registration as exempt with DMV and provision of temporary license plate. - Updates to be provided at specified intervals post-order receipt. - Delivery within thirty (30) days after order receipt; failure may result in termination. Period of Performance The delivery of the purchased vehicle must occur no later than 120 days after receipt of the purchase order or fully executed contract. Place of Performance Delivery location is primarily at County of San Diego, DGS Fleet Services, 5610 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. Bidder Requirements This RFQ is reserved for local businesses defined as those maintaining headquarters within San Diego County or providing goods/services from a location within the county. Offerors must submit completed forms including Offeror’s Cover Page, Representations and Certifications form, Small-Local Business Self-Certification Form, and Nondisclosure Indemnification Agreement if applicable.
