Background The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking proposals for a research database aimed at enhancing educational resources for pre-K-4 students and teachers. Work Details The contractor will provide a research database specifically designed to support pre-K-4 students and teachers. The services include the development, delivery, and installation of the database, which must be accessible and user-friendly for young learners. The contractor must ensure that all products meet educational standards and are delivered on an as-needed basis as specified by MNPS through purchase orders. The contract does not guarantee a minimum amount of goods or services to be ordered. Period of Performance The contract term will begin on February 10, 2026, and end on June 30, 2031. The contract may be extended by written amendment executed by all parties but shall not exceed sixty (60) months without proper approvals. Place of Performance The services will be performed at locations designated by the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools within Davidson County, Tennessee. Bidder Requirements Contractors must possess all necessary licenses, permissions, certifications, and legal qualifications to perform under this contract. Additionally, contractors must maintain various types of insurance including general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, sexual abuse and molestation insurance, cyber/privacy insurance based on the number of schools served, and workers' compensation insurance as required by Tennessee law.
